It is the mission of Gentle Birth and Lactation Choices to provide technically excellent services based on the principles of human dignity, empowerment, encouragement, and honesty, regardless of income, and in a culturally-sensitive, committed, and family-centered manner. It is the goal of this service to encourage the practice of breastfeeding as an endeavor that benefits the mother, the child, the family and community and, ultimately, the entire human race by producing self-confidence in mothers, sensitivity and intelligence in children, and balance and harmony in the family, community, and humankind.
