Inexpensive Breastfeeding instruction   The Breastfeeding Success Package This is two visits, one prior to the birth for education and one after.  Cost is $150 for the package. This is a wonderful shower gift for the mother-to-be.

   Home or  Hospital Visit  $80-100

   Home or Hospital Intervention  $150

   Follow-up Home visit    $65

Home newborn care    $22 - 25.00 hourly, dependent on complexity

Because it is my mission to increase the number of infants who are successfully breastfed, regardless of financial support, individual consideration will be given if charges would create financial difficulty.

What is the difference between a VISIT and an INTERVENTION?  The purpose of a visit is to evaluate breastfeeding BEFORE a problem has begun, and to improve latch, positionning, etc.   An intervention occurs when help is needed for an existing problem or where help is needed for a complex medical situation, such as a 3 month old baby who gets breastmilk from a bottle, but has never fed at the breast or an infant who has a cleft palate or Down's Syndrome.
